Imagine being thrown in jail for disorderly conduct, for refusing to leave a public library that only allowed white people. In 1960, Jesse Jackson and seven other individuals were arrested for refusing to leave a public library in Greenville, S.C.. It was a sit-in, a peaceful protest. Let's hope/pray, that the current widening division in this country, fueled by individuals/groups from ALL political parties, identifies how to unify and conquer hate, racism and bigotry.
